Podcast: Devialet CEO Franck Lebouchard On Building A High-Quality Audio Future
The first time I heard of Devialet was during a music conference in Cannes back in 2015. The company had set up a testing booth to demonstrate Phantom, a powerful, portable speaker that married stunning sound with a daring design intended to attract audiophiles while also leveraging the emerging music streaming services.
It's been a long road for the company since then as Devialet has built a global music brand. Devialet CEO Franck Lebouchard recently joined Ethan Pierse and me on the French Tech News podcast for an update on Devialet's mission to elevate sound to its rightful place in our lives through exacting attention to engineering and design:

- 8:50 People want better sound as streaming and video quality massively improve
- 11:46 3D and immersive audio are coming
- 13:53 Devialet's explosive growth and continuing demand
- 16:10 Phantom speaker for consumers and bringing great sound to cars, televisions, laptops, and more
- 19:43 B2C vs B2B revenue
