Previously: Zimmer was active in the French tech ecosystem in its early days. He co-founded music tech startup Jamendo in 2004 and served as CTO for 7 years. Zimmer then co-founded Pricing Assistant, which was acquired by Contentsquare in 2019.

He began investing early, even when he didn't have much extra cash. He would invest €1,000 to €5,000 in startups. "Basically, I was investing my salary every month into companies founded by friends," he said. "Some of the early ones turned out great. And that kind of motivated me to keep going and to expand the model."
