What: Agua Blanca is an online marketplace for natural home, beauty, and health products. Co-founded by 2 veterans of the circular economy, the company has created a charter that outlines strict guidelines products must meet in order to be sold through the platform. The startup has established a community of experts, scientists, and Super Users to vet the products and ensure they meet those criteria, including items ranging from garbage bags to dishwasher products to laundry to personal hygiene. The site will also leverage data to learn from customer behavior to personalize product offers and deals to encourage more responsible shopping choices.

Why: Consumers are increasingly making buying decisions based on the environmental and social impact of brands. But often it can be difficult for them to know which products are truly responsible without considerable research. Agua Blanca wants to lower that barrier by making it as easy as possible to buy products that are positive for health and the environment.

Who: Co-founders are Sébastien Fabre, former CEO and co-founder of Vestiaire
Collective, and Yann Le Chatelier, former Artistic Director for Vestiaire.

Seed Round: €3 million

Investors: Daphni and Prisma Media.

What's Next: The money will be used to expand Agua Blanca's marketplace and its marketing. The company is hiring.
